Jennifer Donaldson is a certified teacher with over 30 years of experience working with students of all ages and brainstorming solutions with parents and teachers. She currently provides online tutoring and coaching services, helping clients build confidence and business skills.

With the growing need to learn online being present everywhere, it is Jennifer’s mission to provide students and adults with the skills to master educational challenges, add tools to their current resources, and even start their own tutoring or coaching business.

Frequently asked questions about private coaching services with Jennifer Donaldson

Who do you coach?

Adults who want to start their own tutoring business are my specialty, but I also offer coaching for Parenting Goals, Project Task Systems, Business Coaching, Educational Goals, Marriage Mentoring, and more coaching services.

If you need a coach and accountability to accomplish a goal, I’ll tailor a project management system just for you.

Do you offer in-person coaching sessions?

Tutoring is virtual, so we can work together from anywhere with an internet connection. In-person tutoring is not offered at this time.

What kind of results can I expect from coaching services?

Growth in confidence, improved skills, and better goal executions are the objectives for coaching. There are no guarantees for success, though. Progress depends on background, consistency, and work.

Each client should put in the work necessary to grow and improve. Every client is different, but I aim to make coaching encouragins and effective. I want clients to smile more and sigh less.

How often do clients have coaching sessions?

Most clients have tutoring one to two times a week for 55 minute sessions. Occassionally clients might want more sessions for a big project or deadline.

What local schools are you familiar with?

I am a former WCPSS teacher and a private tutor in Apex, North Carolina. I have tutored students from many local schools, including WCPSS, Chatham Country Public Schools, St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School, Cary Christian, Cary Academy, Research Triangle High School, Peak Charter, homeschools, and more.

I also have experience tutoring students who attend online or international schools.

What happens during a typical tutoring session?

We start with an opening questions or reflection for a few minutes. Then we check in on goals and roadblocks. Next we choose a topic to discuss. Finally we set some next steps before closing out our session. Usually clients tell me that can’t believe the time goes by so quickly!
