Tailor Joy LLC is the owner of this Site, tailorjoy.com (referred to as the “Site”). The Site, services, and products offered may include, but are not limited to, articles, reference and communication tools, message boards, books, resources, courses, tutoring, coaching, and information products (the “Service”). The Service is owned and operated by Jennifer Donaldson, Tailor Joy LLC (“us,” “our,” and “we”).

By using the Site, you electronically agree to be legally bound by the Terms, which govern your use of the Site. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You also agree not to alter or tamper with any information or materials on or associated with the Site.

Passwords

Your right to use the Site is personal to you. You may not sublicense, transfer, sell or assign your right to access or use the Site to any third party without our written approval. Any attempt to do so will be null and void and will be considered a material breach of the Terms.

Product Purchase

By purchasing products from Tailor Joy LLC, you agree that the contents are the property of Jennifer Donaldson/Tailor Joy LLC and licensed to you as a single user for personal use. This product and its contents may not be modified, sold, or displayed on the internet. Please purchase additional copies if you wish to share with friends, or share the Tailor Joy website so they can purchase their own.

If you have purchased a digital download product, due to the nature of the product, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. Please contact Tailor Joy LLC about any problems with your order. 

If you have purchased a special order printing, due to the print-on-demand order, we cannot offer refunds or cancellations. Please contact Tailor Joy LLC about any problems with your order. 

YOU CAN:

If any part of the Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that portion will be construed in a manner consistent with applicable law to reflect, as nearly as possible, the original intentions of the parties, and the remaining portions will remain in full force and effect.

Choice of Law and Place for Resolving Disputes

It is at the mutual agreement of both you and Jennifer Donaldson, Tailor Joy LLC with regard to the Terms that the relationship between the parties shall be governed by the laws of the state of North Carolina without regard to its conflict of law provisions and that any and all claims, causes of action and/or disputes, arising out of or relating to the Terms, or the relationship between you and Jennifer Donaldson, Tailor Joy LLC, shall be filed within the courts having jurisdiction within the County of Wake, North Carolina or the U.S. District Court located in said state. You and Jennifer Donaldson, Tailor Joy LLC, agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts as previously mentioned, and agree to waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over the parties by such courts and to venue in such courts. 

Statute of Limitations

You acknowledge, understand, and agree that, regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or action arising out of or related to the use of our Services or the Terms must be filed within 3 year(s) after said claim or cause of action arose or shall be forever barred.

Assignments

We may assign this contract at any time without notice to you. You may not assign this contract to anyone else.

Execution of Agreement

Your continued use of the Site constitutes your acceptance of these Terms as a legal contract and the equivalent of an electronic signature. Natural persons executing this contract warrant and represent that they are at least eighteen (18) years of age. Users and the person executing this Agreement on behalf of any user that is a proprietorship, corporation, partnership or other entity, represent that such Person is duly authorized by all necessary and appropriate corporate or other action to execute this contract on behalf of the user.

No Right of Survivorship Non-Transferability 

You acknowledge, understand and agree that your account is non-transferable and any rights to your ID and/or contents within your account shall terminate upon your death. Upon receipt of a copy of a death certificate, your account may be terminated and all contents therein permanently deleted.

Terms and Conditions for Notary Services

Please read the Terms carefully before making an appointment, as these terms and conditions will guide your purchase and payment, and shall also determine your right with regard to a refund, including essential restrictions and exclusions. 

Through the use of www.tailorjoy.com and the purchase of our products and services, you are therefore consenting to the terms and conditions expressed in this Policy. 

General

Payment is due at the notary appointment. We accept cash, check, money order, or credit cards. The invoice will be emailed to you.

Signature fees are set by the Secretary of State of North Carolina at $10 per signature (primary and credible witnesses) and $.70 per mile round trip if mobile notary services are needed.

Additional fees for other services are $60/hour, including witnessing and assisting with abandoned security boxes.

Free services for notarizing absentee ballots, but mileage may be charged for mobile notary services.

No refunds will be given for notary services rendered or mileage billed.

Notaries have the right to refuse to notarize documents that appear to be tampered with, are fraudulent, or may be used in illegal activities. 

Notaries may reschedule an appointment if you are 15 minutes late, as there may be other clients scheduled after you.

Services must be rendered in person and within the state of North Carolina.

Limitations of Liability
